Wes Day is an accomplished actor and performer with a dynamic career spanning film, television, theatre, and nearly three decades with the internationally acclaimed Blue Man Group. A graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Acting, Wes has built a rich and varied career rooted in bold physical performance, emotional depth, and innovative storytelling.

Wes spent 28 years as a full-time Blue Man, helping shape the cultural phenomenon that became an Off-Broadway staple and global touring sensation. He debuted the Blue Man Group Arena Rock Tour, How to Be a Megastar, starring Fred Armisen, and was featured on major television shows such as The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Deal or No Deal. As one of the longest-running Blue Men, Wes performed in the final show at the Astor Place Theater, closing out the group’s legendary 33-year run.
In film, Wes has taken on roles that range from the haunting Brian in Satan Hates You (Dir. James McKenney) to the gritty title character in The Brooklyn Butcher (Dir. Victor Avial), as well as voice work in Netflix and Kill by David Mills. His television commercial credits include memorable characters like the alien in Sweet and Low (Dir. Rocky Morton) and “Nose on the Street” in a national Afrin campaign.
On stage, Wes’s classical and contemporary credits are equally compelling. He has portrayed iconic roles such as Hamm in Endgame, Sir Colenso Ridgeon in The Doctor’s Dilemma, and Captain Schlegel in Til the Day I Die. His work in experimental and ensemble theatre includes Slava’s Snow Show and Princess Turandot under the direction of renowned Tony Award winning director: Darko Tresnyak.
Wes continues to bring his unique blend of expressive storytelling, physical comedy, and dramatic intensity to every role. His training includes work with esteemed mentors such as Gerald Freedman, David Petrarca, and Bob Francesconi, reflecting a lifelong commitment to his craft.
